Spirituality is an evolutionary impulse, an orientation for what lies beyond the point of our current achievement. The spiritual attitude is not restricted to religion or even philosophy, but embodies vision and encompasses all activities that urge us onward towards a higher goal. Directed spiritual energies can contribute to the forces for good on earth.
The time has come when we, humanity, can make informed choices about how to approach our spirituality and seek divine truth. This site presents some of the choices that the two of us have studied (see contents on left).
We hope this site, www.spiritual-paths.com, can help people align with the philosophies and groups that they are in the best resonance with.
Books / Reviews tells about books that we think you might find interesting, with reviews or recommendations of several that we have read. We also link you to places where you can order them. We are continuing to add books.
Articles and News tells about updates to the site and is a place for articles relating to spiritual paths. It currently contains an excerpt from Rick's book, Bridge to Superconsciousness, that suggests a good way to evaluate a group or movement.
Spiritual Traditions and Life Empowerment give our overview of each of the topics, listed in the Contents, that we have personally investigated. We do not mean to imply that these topics represent all the spiritual paths available to humankind -- they are only the ones we have become acquainted with thus far.
For each topic, we include a list of related books. We also include a sampling of web sites, with brief descriptions extracted from the text of those who created the sites. We are planning for growth and change, as well.
Navigating This Site: To get back to the top of a page or to your previous place, use your browser's back button or use the Contents panel, which is always displayed to improve navigation from one topic to another. When you click on a site that belongs to someone else, your browser opens a separate page so that you can easily return to Spiritual Paths for further browsing. When you do not wish to return to Spiritual Paths, just close its browser window.

Who We Are: This site was created as a service project by Carole Beckham and Rick Prater, authors and publishers for Source Publications. It is an outgrowth of our meditations on our own spiritual purpose and path. We regret that, due to the heavy SPAM we have been receiving, we are no longer able to provide an email address on this site, but hope to set up an email form page in the future so you can get a message to us.
