Eastern: Other

There are many other well known spiritual disciplines from the East, such as Hinduism, that deserve consideration, as well as less well known disciplines such as Zoroastrianism, the Bahá'í Faith, and Sufiism. There are also specialized forms of broader categories, like Buddhism, or Westernized approaches of what are essentially Eastern spiritual disciplines.

In many cases teachers have been able to combine some of the best practices and insights of an Eastern spiritual discipline, such as Tibetan Buddhism, and infuse them with a practical, Western-oriented approach. One of the most outstanding examples of this type of fusion are the business writings of Tarthang Tulku, author of Mastering Successful Work, an extensively trained Tibetan Lama who is also a highly successful businessman in the United States. Another exemplary example of fusion is the work of Sri Aurobindo, who made the voluminous teachings of Hinduism accessible and relevant for the modern people of both the East and West. In addition, there are great teachers, such as Sai Baba who speak to the world from a more universal perspective, although they grew up in, and practice most consistently, the Hindu Faith.

Welcome to The Bahá'í Faith

http://www.us.bahai.org/

The Bahá'í Faith is a worldwide community representing virtually every race, nation, and tribe on earth. We are united by our belief, there is one God, one human race, and one evolving religion. The Bahá'í Faith is a new revelation from God whose goal it is to establish world unity.

The Word Bahá'í means "follower of Bahá'u'lláh." Bahá'u'lláh was the Prophet-Founder of the Bahá'í Faith. His name in Arabic means "The Glory of God." His followers believe that Bahá'u'lláh's writings are an expression of the Holy Spirit and are the Word of God.

Like Judaism, Christianity, Islam, and other great religions, the Bahá'í Faith began in the East. But the Bahá'í teachings are not Eastern or Western; they are universal, revealed for all the people of the planet. The Bahá'í Faith has spread throughout the world, gaining adherents from every nation, race, culture and class. More than 2,100 tribes, races and ethnic groups are represented in the Bahá'í world community. Bahá'u'lláh's writings are translated into 800 languages.

A growing number of people are becoming interested in the Bahá'í Faith, not only because it contains profound spiritual teachings, but also because it shows how spiritual principle can be put into action in effective ways. Bahá'u'lláh's message offers intelligent and reasonable solutions to the myriad issues faced by humanity in the modern age.

Feng Shui Advisors

http://members.tripod.com/~usafengshuiadvisors/page2.htm

Is there really a force that governs the universe? When the famous movie Star Wars came out (written and produced by George Lucas), people were fascinated with characters of Darthvader and Ben Kenobi using the force for good and evil. Though the movie exaggerates its powers, we will examine this and other possibilities that have been an ancient Chinese knowledge.

We have seen Feng Shui help thousands of people in all sorts of situations from financial situations, health, romance, peace of mind, just to name a few. We hope that you'll find answers here for your own life if not interesting on our web-site.

Our purpose of this web-site is to correct the many different beliefs (through time) that people believed what Feng Shui is and what Feng Shui remedies don't work and to separate the real Feng Shui Masters from the phonies.
