Alternative science is concerned with the genuine quest for scientific discovery. It is not bound by the notion of what ought to be, but the idea of what is. Too often scientific investigations are narrowed to a small area circumscribed by the prejudiced and prevailing view of the scientific establishment. But alternative science goes beyond what conventionally excepted views of the world to embrace such topics as electromagnetic medicine, antigravity devices, free energy devices, and any number of potential new discoveries which could radically alter our lifestyles for the better, if a honest and open spirit of scientific inquiry prevailed, rather than the so often entrenched support of the vested interests who fear that some new discovery will interfere with their profits. Alternative science also seeks to more widely publish some of the discoveries already made by pioneers in alternative science: such men as Wilhelm Reich, Victor Schauburger, and Nikolia Tesla, who too often have been relegated to the backwaters of scientific awareness.

Over the years, the Lab has supported various research projects, and educational lectures and workshops in both the USA and overseas, focused upon the basic sex-economic and orgone biophysical discoveries of the late Dr. Wilhelm Reich. Work sponsored by the Lab has included cross-cultural social research, experimental investigation of the biophysical effects of the orgone energy accumulator, methods for objectification of the biological and atmospheric orgone energy, and field-research and applications of the Reich cloudbuster under both drought and desert conditions. The Lab also publishes a research journal, Pulse of the Planet, and other Special Reports and books. The Lab is an independent organization, but enjoys an informal, cooperative, and productive working relationship with other responsible individuals and organizations.
